Walking around the store....

...yesterday I found these papers on the floor that must have come in on I day I didn't work!
That happens to me all the time....we get new stuff and if I am not there I miss it.  So I took a few photos of papers that caught my eye (there were more...but I restrained myself)...

Have a gamer in your house?  I do...two of them.  This paper will be perfect to highlight their obsession  with PS2!!  The Basic Grey Obscure line is also great for gamers, it looks so TECHNO.
And these fun papers are from the same line.....so cute for a day in the park page.

This weekend we have the CARD MARATHON for World Card Making Day.

From 10-3pm you will craft 15 cards for $20.  Sign up today, we still have room for you.  If you are experienced crafter it won't take you long to get them all done, but if you are new to it, you might want to head in early.  It will be set up with a card at each station and you can work at your own pace.  Call today to reserve your place.

Scrappin for a Cause

ScrapPink was too much fun and so busy!  I had a hard time keeping up with the hourly door prizes for the ScrapPink Crop ladies!!  But they all ended up winning a nice PINK prize.  We were hopping all day and the only photo I got was this one at the end of the day....and you know I take LOTS and LOTS of photos!

We drew for our  big door prize and I will announce that after I give her a call.  Photo of that to come...I promise.

In other news:

We have the CUTTLEBUG STORAGE BINDER AND REFILLS ON SPECIAL again today.  If you have a CUTTLEGBUG and your embossing folders and die cuts plates are needing a home, this unit is awesome.  And you can't beat 30% off.  It's a continuation of the SCRAPPINK specials we had yesterday....did you miss out?

We will also be having the ALTERABLE TINS and  PAINT PAILS at 30% off today (Sunday Sept 28th).  Need a gift project for a birthday or maybe that other big holiday creeping around the corner?  A gift in a tin, or a beautifully decorated tin as the gift is wonderful to receive.  We have awesome examples through the store of what we did with our tins.

Build-A-Book

We've got them!

From the makers of PRIMA products comes Build-A-Book.  I took a class with the designers
Trisha Ladouceur and Michelle Van Etten this summer at CHA.  I loved the idea of the books.  Each page will fit the pages from another design, so if you layer the star page with the tab page and then put the scallop in the back, the holes all line up so you can put the pages together!!  You can also use the pages from one set if you don't like the layered look.

It just so happens that there is a contest going on using the Build-A-Book and you can see the details HERE if you are interested.  Plus there are plenty of ideas on their blog using the acrylic albums.  Gotta love inspiration!

The white line on the outside edge is something I drew on using a pen they provided at the class.  The packs are clear acrylic and come in many great designs.

More preview photos

As I head off to work this morning...where I will have lots of new goodies to play with...I realized you will all have to wait until late (very late) in the day for me to post any of the new goodies....so  I will leave you with these to tide you over until then.....

The front entryway of GREEN HAVEN...love those twisty trees.
The kitchen area.  A few more appliances installed and a little cleaning and it will look amazing.
The living area
Bedroom view from the corner....the bathroom, with shower and sink and toilet, an extra sink area outside because one bathroom mirror and 4 women, you do the math....lol..and a closet.  There are 5 bathrooms total throughout the house, so no need to worry about not having enough.

And the best part.....the hot tub! This is the view from the back porch area looking into the HOT TUB room. Have I mentioned that this a 7 person tub?? Outside the porch is a patio with a sitting wall....so nice....I want one!

Happy LABOR Day

We are closed today in observance of LABOR DAY
No deliveries of new things today, so I will share with you
some of the sneak peaks I got of
GREEN HAVEN retreat.

Patti and Dan Green are busy completing the last of the building details and are down to the  assembly of furniture and decorating.

From the back door of the retreat workroom to our building.  A nice new path will bring you to our parking lot and around to our front door.
Here is the workroom.  Furniture to come....
Outside the workroom with a view of the back of our building.

Hope you enjoyed the sneak of the classroom. I have more of the inside that I will share as Dan and Patti get closer to the Open House on September 11 and 13th.

And on Tuesday, Leann and I will be busy unpacking more boxes.....lots and lots of them!!  Who knows what our delivery guys will bring? You'll have to stay tuned for that....or stop by and see for yourself.
