Making Sandwiches

Ok, not delicious ham and cheese sandwiches, but a NESTABILITES sandwich.

We are just loving our NESTIES and CUTTLEBUGS and I thought I would share a "recipe" with you.

To make a gorgeous embossed image with the Cuttlebug and NESTABILITY  you start with the "A" plate, then put the "B" plate on top of that followed by the NESTIE (cut side up), the paper you are embossing, a RUBBER PLUMBING GASKET (which can be purchased at Menards in the plumbing dept.), three pieces of cardstock (or in my case I found a chipboard piece that was the exact same depth) and topped off by the other "B" plate.  Roll your "Sandwich" through and

you have a perfect embossed image of the cutting plate.

We have also had some success with embossing with our BRASS templates using a similar recipe.  You might have to tweak the shims (cardstock or chipboard pieces) to fit your BRASS Template design.
