Cuttlebug Demo

Our PROVO CRAFT Rep will be stopping by on May 5th from 3:30-5:30 to show us more fun with the CUTTLEBUG.  We have plenty of fun dies and embossers in stock at the store.  Check out our collection of cards and layouts using the awesome CUTTLEBUG tools.  

Yesterday we got in another shipment of the NESTABILITES dies, more shapes and restocks on other shapes we have sold out of already.  I just bought a set yesterday and I have been playing all night with my new fun toy!! Great crisp cuts and it works with my "BUG".  You have to love a product that works with the things you already have.  Don't have a BUG yet....what are you waiting for?  We have machines priced at $62.50 every day (no punches for this item).  Can't make it in for the DEMO on Monday? ...come in anytime and we can show you how to use (play with) the CUTTLEBUG die cutting machine.

What's going on?

That is the question we have been getting recently....what IS going on behind the store?

For those of you who have dropped by in the past week, we have a pile of dirt and lots of heavy equipment busy digging holes and filling them in again.....because a new RETREAT house is being built back there!!!

GREENHAVEN RETREAT 

has gone from an idea to reality this week.  

The house will feature everything you need 

to create and relax in one place.

Just a few details to get you excited:

Kitchen: The fully stocked kitchen features dinnerware and cooking utensils for 16 guests, a table that seats all 16 guests at once and an outdoor grill.  If you don't want to cook, several restaurants are within delivery distance or you could make a quick drive to several other restaurant or grocery locations within a 5-10 minute drive.  Red Robin will be opening soon on the corner of Golf and 93 and that will be a little over a mile away.

Guest rooms: Four guest rooms will feature four twin beds in each with all linens provided.  A private bath with towels and Bath & Body works hand soap is also included. 

Work Area:  Each guest will get a 6" table, a garbage can and a fully adjustable chair to enjoy their crafting experience.  You know we need room!! Plus a bathroom is located in the classroom area.

The GOOD stuff

Here is our big prize for the National Scrapbooking Day Celebration on Saturday, May 3rd.  Shoppers will get to put their name in for the drawing for this awesome prize valued at over $150.  
This big tote is filled with all sorts of paper crafting goodies.  Our Scrap all Day Saturday is full, but we do have a little room left in our Friday night crop.  Call the store if you'd like reserve a seat for Friday.
More NEW STUFF.  We got in another shipment of the NESTABILITIES die cut/embosser plates.  They are so much fun to play with and work in the CUTTLEBUG.

Don't forget about our CUSTOMER THRIFT SALE in the classroom on Saturday (April 26th).  Lots of great stuff has come in.  If you are looking for a bargain, this is the time to shop.  When you finish your "thrift shopping" don't forget to check out the new stuff in the store.

Our THRIFT SALE is full.  

All the numbers have been taken and we are preparing to get the items that are arriving into the classroom for the big day.  If you have a number, but find that you are not able to participate or just can't part with your stuff, give us a call at the store, as we have a list of people waiting to get their items into the sale.

Just remember we are NOT accepting Credit cards for thrift sale items. Cash or checks only in the classroom.  Please pay for your thrift sale items before shopping in the store.

MEMORIES OF YESTERDAY Laser cuts have arrived.  We got in many of the travel cuts  to add to our Die Cut collection.  Something a little different and fun.

Customer Thrift Sale

Bring your scrapping and stamping supplies to be sold in our backroom during the thrift sale.  If your items sell, you get store credit for the sale.  Call and get a number for your items, bring them in by Thursday April 24th and we do the rest!  

If you don't have items to sell but are looking for a great deal, stop by to check out what's available.  We have had stamps, papers, rolling cases, storage pieces, punches, and tons more at previous sales.   You never know what might be there!!

Paper paper and more paper!

As if we didn't have enough paper....we got more!

We got the AWESOME WeR papers. Bright awesome colors for fun layouts and cards and more!

More HEIDI GRACE papers arrived as well......yummy flocked stuff and great double sided papers.

And to top that off, Leann ordered more stuff today.....the PAPER BLITZ continues......because we need more room.  I personally added 7 more papers to the clearance section just to make more room on the floor.

Paper fun

Dinosaurs and Bright papers make a great combination! COSMO CRICKETs bright "GET HAPPY" line is perfect for a cheery get well card or a HAPPY BIRTHDAY for someone you love.  And our Sandy Lion embellies are too fun to play with.....of course, I couldn't resist using my CUTTLEBUG along with these great papers and embellies.  The CUTTLEBUG embossing folders add a nice touch to any card.  All our customers know how much we LOVE our bugs.  Come catch the BUG with us....we have a HUGE selection of embossing folders, cutting plates and other fabulous accessories for the bug.  If you haven't tried the CUTTLEBUG, just ask one of us to give you a quick demo, most of us have had ours for over a year and know a lot about them.

Our next big event coming up is the Customer Thrift sale.  

Call to get a number for your items and then price and bring to the store no later than April 24th so we can prepare the room for the sale.  This years thrift sale is scheduled for Saturday April 26th.  Please bundle loose papers together as a pack (like 10 papers to a 2 gallon size Ziploc baggie or other packaging ) instead of individually, they sell better and don't get bent up during the "shopping process".  Price your items for what YOU want to make on them.  We may get several of the same item and you may want $2 for your item, but another customer may want only $1.  You decide if you want to make money on it or just get rid of it.  Make sure your price stickers are securely on your items because if one falls off, we have NO IDEA who it belongs to.  Also, please make sure you have your items picked up early the next week as we have other events coming up we need to make room for.  We generally have the items packed back up and ready to go by Monday.  Call ahead if you want to make sure they are ready.  The amount of store credit on your account will be listed with your boxed items after the sale is over.  This is a great opportunity to pick up some great items for yourself as well, even if you don't have any to get rid of.

It's SHOWTIME!

What a busy day!!  The delightful Wisconsin weather was perfect for hanging out at a stamp/scrap show today.

We had a BLAST at the STAMPEDE at 29 Pines today.  We spent hours getting the booth set up with lots of fun things from the store and we even got Ryan in on some crafting for the Make & Take. He just loves the CUTTLEBUG (as do most of our customers!) Who doesn't love that cute little machine.

We met lots of our customers out at the show and we were so happy you stopped by to say HI!  We hope you all had as good a time as we did.

While we were at the show, the girls back at the store got all the new BASIC GREY on the floor and, I must say, it's too much yum for one visit!!  You are going to want a sheet of everything!  BE PREPARED!

Speaking of PAPER, we still have that fabulous deal on clearance papers....4 for  $1. Our PAPER BLITZ will run through April 20th.  We still have (literally) tons of paper on order and we need the room so you can see it all as soon as it arrives.

Have you noticed lately that we have a LOT of stuff in the store?  Well we did too, especially today when more papers arrived!!!  We have no room to put them on the floor.  So, we decided to do a PAPER BLITZ to make room for the new stuff.

The weather has been fabulous, and we are still buried under boxes of new product.  We might never get to enjoy Spring!!

More of the NOTEWORTHY collection from Making Memories....so cool!  We have the papers, alphabets, the spiral notebook (restocked...yay!)  and chipboard.  It went fast the first time....get it while its still in stock.

I have been busy creating some pages with the awesome papers we have gotten in recently!  Who can resist the Fancy Pants papers or the American Crafts Vinyl Thickers? We got in some of the NOTEWORTHY goodies from Making Memories....but it sold out already......but we are getting more.
